Electrophysiology
Electrophysiology is the study of cardiac arrhythmias, or abnormal heart rhythms a disorder which affects more than 2 million Americans.
Midwest Heart Specialists has six full time cardiac electrophysiologists. These physicians have special training in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac rhythm abnormalities.
Our electrophysiologists specialize in arrhythmia diagnosis and treatment including electrical ablation as well as implantation of pacemakers. They also have special expertise in the implantation and evaluation of automatic implantable defibrillators.
