Possible Side Effects

· Common: Dizziness, nausea/vomiting, metallic taste changes, shortness of breath, fatigue, constipation, slow heart rate
· Rare: Irregular heart rhythms, congestive heart failure
Guidelines for Taking This Medication
· Take your medication at the same time each day
· If a dose is missed, take it as soon as you remember; do not take it if it is almost time for the next dose
· Do not stop this medication, unless directed by your doctor or nurse
· Do not take this medication if you have a slow heart rate
· Notify your doctor or nurse promptly if you experience shortness of breath, slow heart rate, dizziness or fainting
· Contact your doctor or nurse before taking any new prescription or over-the-counter medications
· Keep regular appointments with our doctor; this medication needs to be monitored closely
