Medical Transcriptionist
Job DescriptionTranscribe physicians' and nurses' dictation into comprehensive documents, including testing (nuclears, echocardiograms, CT angiograms, peripheral vacular studies, blood pressure monitors and cardiopulmonary exercise tests); office dictation, discharge summaries and letters.
MHS Transcriptionists are paid on productivity (base pay plus incentive). Transcriptionists have the option to work from home after a minimum of 6 months training in house. Training hours must be during the day between the hours of 7:00am and 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
Education and/or Experience: Minimum 5 years transcription experience. Cardiology experience preferred with understanding of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology and medical terminology. Experience with digital software system and electronic medical record required.
