Front Desk Receptionist (Internal only)

Job Description

Greets patients, welcomes visitors, prepares patient charts, obtains patient insurance and demographic information - enters into system; assists in obtaining referrals; updates schedules and schedules appointments. Directs waiting room flow. Peforms other clerical duties as needed - filing, photocopying, collating, mail sorting. Assists in collection of patient co-payments and entering of charges.

Job Requirements

One to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook essential.  Some prior experience in customer service and managed care helpful. Experience in navigation of internet helpful.
