Cardiac Medical Assistant II
Job DescriptionWork independently with assigned providers in both clinic setting and follow up patient care. Duties include rooming patients and completing Level III assessments; chart prep to ensure most recent notes and results are in patient chart for visit; prep patients for treadmill testing; perform EKG testing and process medication refills; Event and Holter Monitor application; maintain emergency crash cart & medication samples; patient education as advised by nurse or physician as well as other activities required to deliver patient care. Certified Cardiovascular Technician, LPN or graduate of a medical assistant school.
2-3 years cardiac care experience and/or training or equivalent of education and experience required. BCLS certification required.
