Cardiac Medical Assistant II
Job DescriptionResource Pool Position - no guarantee of hours
Must be willing to travel to any Midwest Heart Specialists office.
Work independently with assigned providers in both clinic setting and follow up patient care. Duties include rooming patients and completing Level III assessments; chart prep to ensure most recent notes and results are in patient chart for visit; prep patients for treadmill testing; perform EKG testing and process medication refills; Event and Holter Monitor application; maintain emergency crash cart and medication samples; patient education as advised by nurse or physician as well as other activities required to deliver patient care.
Job Requirements
Certified Cardiovascular Technician, LPN or graduate of a medical school. 3-5 years cardiac care experience and/or training or equivalent of education and experience required. BCLS certification helpful.
