Arrhythmia Coordinator
Job DescriptionProvide both clinical and administrative support for the physicians and nurses in the electrophysiology product line. Essential duties include conducting routine transtelephonic patient checks, communicating significant findings to physician/nursing team, appointment scheduling utilizing the EP software, maintaining database and records for device patients and coordinating holter review processes for product line. Work collaboratively with clinicians to promote patient care.
Requirements:
Certified Cardiovascular Technician, or equivalent education, experience, LPN.
Basic EKG knowledge required. Ability to interpret cardiac rhythm strips; telemetry experience. Basic computer skills required: typing, email, electronic medical record; experience with excel preferred. BCLS Certification helpful.
